Have you considered using Modular Origami to teach some of these concepts?
Lots of fun and so much potential. I recently took out of the library the book "The Art and Science of Geometric Origami by Jon Maekawa. Excellent book with lots of ideas.
We have a few geometric origami books here at the office--I admit that I don't know much about it! Though a few months ago I learned how to trisect an angle with origami folding, and that is very very cool.
I could always do a zoom class for you or for some students. Or if your school could pay my train ticket to NYC I could visit and do a class in person .....LOL. I am desperate to get to NYC to see the Cicely Brown exhibit at the MET.
